OpenBuilds Sphinx 1050 (833x325x85)
The basic kit contains all the structural parts needed to build the Sphinx 55. Those interested can enrich the system (by choosing additional options visible in the product price).
You can enrich the basic set or choose the following options:
- Stepper Motor NEMA 23
- Control electronics
- You can order a composite set
Basic technical description:
- Work area: X=~833 mm / Y=~325 mm / Z=~85mm
- Max. thickness of material processed: ~57mm
- Drive: Screwed
- Accuracy of the device: 0.05 - ~ 0.1mm
- Overall dimension: 1000x500mm
Application:
The device is ideal for every hobbyist and semi-professional work. The OpenBuilds Sphinx CNC milling machine allows you to process materials such as:
- Soft/tough wood
- Aluminium
- Plastics
- Foams
- and others
MDF is not included. Recommended board size is 19mm x 500mm x 410mm.
The kit contains all the elements needed to build the structure - they are included in the set:

The kit does not include NEMA 23 motors, control board, spindle, end pieces, power supply, MDF.

Control and software:
To control the unit we recommend the manufacturer's dedicated xPRO v4 CNC controller available in our shop. The driver provides stable operation, fast installation and is compatible with free OpenBuilds software!
