The 3-axis design of OpenBuilds MiniMill milling machine is the perfect solution for any DIY enthusiast, design office or craft workshop studio working with wood, steel, or aluminum.
You only need to add a milling tool to the construction, and we can start working!

Specification of MiniMill OpenBuilds:

- Y Axis Travel: 195mm - (7.5")
- Z Axis Travel: 80mm - (3")
Choosing the right tool, you can work with:

Control and software:
To control the unit, we recommend work with the xPRO v4 CNC controller, dedicated by the manufacturer, available in our store.
The driver ensures stable operation, quick installation and is compatible with free OpenBuilds software!

SPINDLE DEWALT D26200, ROUTER 11 OR WORK WITHOUT SPINDLE
The milling machine can be purchased together with a DeWalt D26200 spindle or with RoutER11 spindle. Those items allow you to work with many different materials.
The DeWalt D26200 is supplied together with a sleeve which allows to the installation of 8mm shank cutters. With an additional fee you can buy 3.175mm or 6mm sleeves. DeWalt will allow you to regulate the working speed in the range from 16,000 to 27,000 rpm.
RoutER11 is a spindle dedicated by OpenBuilds USA, which offers reasonable parameters for an optimal price. The great advantage of the spindle is a set of sleeves which allows to the assembly of cutters with a diameter of 3.175, 3mm, 6mm and 6.35mm!
People who have their own spindle jet, can purchase a LEAD CNC 75 milling machine without a spindle. LEAD 75 is equipped with a handle enabling the assembly of a spindle with a diameter of approx. 70 mm.
