Hobbistic laser PLH3D-6W

The smallest but also the most powerful laser head from the PLH3D series. The PLH3D-2W model is a medium power head equipped with a 450nm laser diode and a high-resolution lens. The lightweight design (70g) allows the laser head to be mounted even on small and delicate units. The controller equipped with an LED diode informs the user when the laser is "running".

The engraving laser lens is installed and adjusted to focus on a height of 60mm. This is the optimal distance that allows you to work quickly with various materials for both engraving and cutting.

The temperature control system turns off the laser head in case of exceeding the critical temperature. Small driver installed directly on the head improves the speed of the diode modulation!

Analog modulation allows you to control the laser power in the range from 0V (laser OFF) to 5V (laser ON) and 2V (laser approx. 40% of power). The laser can also be controlled by TTL from 0 to 5V.

To modulate the power via PWM, the fundamental frequency should oscillate in the range of 5 to 10 kHz.
