The C-BEAM XLarge mounting plate is one of the most stable plates, which enables us to build linear rail using C-BEAM or V-SLOT 20x80 profile.
The construction of the linear rail is fast and stable, so we can use it both to build simple guides e. g. For camera sliders as well as for more advanced projects such as CNC milling machines or plotters.
Drive for C-BEAM XLarge linear rail
The rail on the C-BEAM profile can be moved manually or the ACME drive screw and accessories can be used to move the rail with e. g. stepper motors.
Construction of the basic C-BEAM XLarge
The C-BEAM XLarge can be built with 4 or 6 Solid Wheel or Xtreme Solid Wheel rollers. The screw drive can be used to give movement, using one of 2 types of drive blocks. The construction time of the rail is about 20 minutes and all you need is an Allen screw and a flat-eye screw for nuts 8.
