The Strafer Chassis Kit V4
The Strafer Chassis Kit is a stiff, low-profile chassis that includes high torque 312RPM planetary motors, mecanum wheels with ball bearings, and a customizable chassis, which obviously can be customized to your liking.
Motors
At first glance, you may be wondering where are the engines? Turn it over and you will notice the 312RPM 5203 series planetary gear motors are hidden away. Coupled with 96mm wheels, they give a theoretical speed of over 1.5m / s. These motors drive all steel gears, heavy duty hubs and ball bearings, ready for action with low friction!
Angular gears
Bevel gears, located near each of the four corners of the housing, create a 90 ° drive, allowing motors to be mounted in the 1120 series U-profile.
Shafts
All bars (including motor bars) are made of 8mm REX for maximum strength.
Wheels
GoBilda Mecanum wheels have a diameter of 96 mm, rollers on ball bearings, a narrow profile and steel side plates. Each wheel is only 207g - much smaller than the competition. Reduced rotating mass ensures faster acceleration with less encumbrance on the motors.
Frame
The structure of the profile allows all these high-quality elements to be placed without the need for external cladding, as is the case with some frames. They are customizable - move the center profiles, adjust the track width and more, all with the same parts we provide.
