The powder coated FlexPlate set consists of three parts. The first is the magnetic surface that you attach to the printer's bed. The second and third are high quality spring steel sheet which is covered with a sheet of the best PEI.

Flexplate PEI is the perfect printing surface, it is very durable and easy to manage. And best of all, thanks to the Flexible disc, your prints will be very easy to take off of the plate after printing. Just fold it a bit and the print will pop out right away. FlexPlate PEI is based on a ferrite core which is much more heat resistant than neodymium magnets. FlexPlate easily withstands temperatures up to 130 ° C degrees, so it can even be used with ABS

How to use FlexPlate?

Unpack the FlexPlate, attach the magnetic surface to the table, and then attach the spring steel plate with the PEI (attached to the magnetic surface). Remove the PEI protective film and re-level the worktable. After that you are ready to print.

The printed parts should be easy to take out off the surfaces with no problem. PLA does not require additional heat, but table temperature around 45°C might be helpful in printing. You do not need any adhesives, but if you are going to be printing something big or something which demand long printing time, it's sometimes a good idea to use a glue stick. This will make your parts stick even better and it come even easier to take it off after printing.

After printing, just let the plate cool down, remove the plate, and bend it gently. Then you can just "take" the model off the plate. Before each print, wipe the PEI surface with 70-91% isopropyl alcohol in order to remove any grease or other residues that may have accumulated on the surface. This will help to significantly increase the adhesion of the surface.
For cleaning the PEI after using it, use acetone, isopropyl alcohol, methyl alcohol or soap.
