A set of bevel gears with a ratio of 2: 1 (gear wheel with hole REX 8mm)
This bevel gear set includes a 14-tooth gear for mounting on a 6mm REX shaft and a 28-tooth gear for mounting on a 16mm pattern hub. The combination of gears with 14 and 28 teeth creates a 2: 1 gear ratio which is most commonly used as a reduction gear, meaning the small wheel drives the large wheel. Although they can also be used as 2: 1 overdrive if speed is more important than torque.
