We are pleased to present you the latest design from V-SLOT Polska - the V-TROX desktop milling machine. The device was designed by our company from scratch, with the experience which we earned with the construction and design of larger CNC plotters. When creating the V-TROX structure, we assumed that we want to expand our offer with a device that will offer the best possible parameters for a reasonable price.

Like most projects created in our company, we designed the device in such a way that it met our expectations in every possible aspect. V-Trox is a small milling machine that most of our team members have at home and create many extraordinary projects.

This small milling machine has been designed in such a way that almost everyone can set it up and use it in their own small workshop. It is an ideal device for people who are starting their adventure with CNC milling machines and want to acquire knowledge and experience before making a decision to buy a larger (and more expensive) device.

The device is ideally suited as the first CNC milling machine for learning, so it will successfully find its place at home, in a workshop studio, as well as at school and university.

EASY TO CONNECT DEVICE!

After receiving the device, it only takes a few minutes to start the device! The construction is almost completely assembled, so you need a piece of stable desk to set up the device (the milling machine has rubber feet), a classic 230V socket and a computer with Windows or IOS operating system.

Together with the device, you will receive all the necessary cables (230V and USB) and a software program for controlling the machine - OpenBuilds Control.

OPENBUILDS CONTROL

To control the device, you need a computer with Windows (preferably Win10) or IOS system installed. The device must be connected via the USB cable (which is included in the set), to the computer. In such a way you can install the OpenBuilds Control program, which you receive on a USB flash drive.

We install the OpenBuilds Control software, connect the USB to the computer, the milling machine to a 230V socket and now we can control the X / Y / Z axes!

The flash drive will also contain a post-process for the Fusion360 software to generate G-CODE files that we upload to OpenBuilds Control to start working.

ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS

We chose electronic components for the V-TROX that offer excellent value in reasonable price.

KS board with the GRBL software loaded on it are responsible for controlling the machine. The axis movement is possible due to usage of excellent quality NEMA 23 stepper motors, which also work well in our larger devices. Three mechanical limit switches for each axis allow the device to be brought to the zero point for each axis. In addition, the whole working field is illuminated with an LED lamp.

The entire system is powered by a high-quality 24V power supply, which ensures stable operation of the device.

SMALL AND STABLE!

Despite small size, the V-TROX is a very solid and rigid structure.

For its construction, we used, among others, milled in our company aluminum plates with a thickness of 10mm and aluminum profiles V-SLOT 2040 and C-BEAM profiles with a cross-section of 40x80mm!

The movement of the trolleys is possible thanks to the use of MGN15 linear guides, which ensure smooth and stable movement of each axis.

YOUR MILLING MACHINE - YOUR CHOICE!

The kit includes a complete, fully assembled V-TROX desktop milling machine, which is ready to run. You only need to choose and buy a spindle and cutters for the milling machine, depending on your own needs. As standard, the device is delivered with a holder that allows the assembly of a spindle with a diameter of 71mm. The DeWalt D26200 spindle, which you can also purchase from our company, will work perfectly with this milling machine. However, if you already have a spindle or want to purchase spindle with a different size, you can choose a 65mm or 51mm chuck. People who want to use 100% of the device's capacity can also replace the stepper motors with NEMA 23 (345 oz-in | 24.8 kg / cm).
